Hello to everyone:I'll be participating in a congress on Queer sexualities next year, and the topic I would like to discuss is- you got it- anime and manga. More specifically, I'd like to study yaoi and yuri; I was wondering if anyone knew ofbooks or articles in English in which I could study this topic extensively, as I have failed to find such material in Spanish, and so far my search in English is proving equally difficult. The only think I've found is wikipedia, and I'm not exactly a fan of the website. Not for serious study anyways. Thanks.

Sorry I don't know of any academic papers or books about yaoi or yuri.



I do know that there is a whole convention about yaoi...I bet someone over there would know? Here's the URL for it:

They actually have essays and interviews on the site that might help you (I haven't read any...so I can't tell you how good/bad they are).
